Hi, my name is Amanda Shunta and I am helping the Closz family during this difficult time. Many have been asking Melissa Closz how you can help, and with her permission, I have started this gofundme page as a way for people to give financial help. On Thursday, May 18, Mike had a colonoscopy and has since been diagnosed with aggressive colorectal cancer. He has been admitted to the hospital in GR for further treatment and testing. Everything is still very new as they have only had a week to process all of this and still do not have many answers yet. As with any family going through cancer, there will be a lot of time off of work, a lot of gas being used to travel to and from GR, and medical expenses that insurance does not cover. Mike is the first person that would help anyone out and the last person to ask for help. But this is a time he needs our help.
