Help family of hit-and-run victim Vince Giamona

Dear friends, family, and the Kitsap County Community,

It is with a heavy heart that we are announcing the death of Vince Giamona. For those of you that knew him, you knew that he lived life fully, joyfully and lovingly for 36 years.

On the evening of Monday, August 9, a hit-and-run driver took Vince away from us and we are all still reeling from the tremendous loss.

As you can imagine, none of Vince's family was prepared for the financial burden that comes along with this tragedy. Vince and his partner Andrew had just purchased their dream home together and had plans of growing a flourishing garden alongside their backyard chickens and three dogs. Andrew is now faced with the burden of grief and financial obligations all on his own. Our hope is you'll show your support in any way you can.

Your donation will go towards a modest but proper ceremony to honor Vince's memory. It will also help Andrew as he figures out next steps. Every little bit is appreciated.

As of the creation of this Gofundme page, the suspect is still on the loose. Please contact sheriff's deputies if you have any information so we can bring justice for Vince.
