2020 and 2021 has been a tragic year for my family and I. We lost everything including our dog who saved us by barking and waking up our oldest son in a house fire on May 7th. We were lucky to make it out alive by jumping out the second story window with our three kids to survive. My boyfriend (who was in a motorcycle accident and had a broken pelvis and surgery on his right wrist) had grab our extension ladder in the backyard  and go back into the burning house and get our middle son. We ended up being in the ICU for 3 days on oxygen with burns, cuts, and I went blind for a few days, but was lucky to regain my vision. 

We didn’t have insurance because we bought the home which had major problems and over time was able to fix it up and remodel it. We were in the process of getting insurance, but unfortunately this event happened leaving us with no home.
