The impact of the collision left both Christopher and his fiancé with numerous injuries—his fiancé suffering the most severe. As a result, neither of them can work at this time, and they have three children who depend on them.

This accident could not have come at a worse time, Christopher had previously been off work for six years due to a serious back injury, receiving WSIB benefits during that time. When he finally found work that he could manage, it was a relief to be back on his feet. Unfortunately, in 2022, another devastating setback occurred—he suffered a broken talus and a concussion after falling on ice while delivering a package.
