Help family left homeless by storm

Donation protected
Long time island residents Duane and Paula Guilbault's home was destroyed during Thursday's massive wind storm, leaving them homeless.  A tree came through the roof, destroying the entire top floor of the house as well as smashing out all the windows of the entire house, leaving it uninhabitable and damaged beyond repair.
Many of you would know Duane as  long time employee of Hawthorne Hill Gravel Sales.  Duane and his wife Paula are kind people who are always ready to help anyone any way they can.
Duane and Paula are also raising their 10 year old granddaughter Sadie, whose bedroom was crushed along with theirs, leaving them with no clothing, bedding or furniture, not to mention their personal belongings that were lost.
It is hard to estimate the loss, but any amount at all will help this family in need.
Donations of clothing, bedding, furniture, toys, anything at all would also be greatly appreciated, and can be dropped off at Hawthorne Hill Gravel Sales.
If anyone knows of a house to rent in the Chemainus area they are in desperate and immediate need.
