Help Family Lay Brother and Son to Rest

On August 5, 2021, our beloved brother Onesmus Omwenga Maroko was called by the Lord to his new home. For the past 2 Weeks Onesmus had been fighting for his life after a diagnosis of Covid-19. Anyone that knew him knows that he was the most loving and caring father, husband, son, brother, and friend. We will miss you dearly but will cherish all your laughter, smiles, and great memories. Onesmus departed this world in Kenya, however, in the US he leaves behind a father and two brothers, both members of the US military for over 10 years each, and two sister-in-laws who are RNs and fight COVID daily. His brothers and father must make their way back to Kenya to properly lay Onesmus to rest. We are asking for any donations towards funeral expenses and hospital bills that was left behind. A family of civil servants should not have to go through this alone. Although these funds cannot possibly cover the price of loss and grief, we hope to alleviate at least a part of the financial burden that has been placed on us and all extended family.
