Help family in Ukraine to cross the borders

Hello everyone,

 

My husband and I are Ukrainian and living in Griffith NSW, Australia with permanent resident visas. We are due to become Australian citizens in a couple of months time. We have two small children, both were born in Australia. 

 

We have parents, a sister and 12 year old niece, currently living in Ukraine where Russia has declared war. They all live in the town of Mykolaiv, where it is one of the primary targets as it is a Port. Rockets and shelling can be seen and heard above their home. My family in Ukraine hide under the basement when the sirens come on and when fighting break out in the area. As seen in the video, just outside of my family's home, there are ruins of destroyed buildings, burnt and abandoned tank after Russia's attack.

 

We have engaged with an immigration lawyer from Sydney to process my family's visas and application forms which will incur a cost. Combined with ground transport to the borders, accommodation, plane tickets for safe refuge and resettlement will total around AUS$30,000.

In this urgent and imminent danger, we are reaching out for your kind consideration to help bring our family safe refuge.
