Help St. Cloud, FL Family with Immediate Need
Donation protected
My brother, Chris Ogilvie, has been recently and unexpectedly diagnosed with Stage 4 Kidney Cancer, which has spread to his lymph nodes, bones, lungs, and brain. The cancer was found when he suffered a femur fracture during a regular work day. He was hospitalized, and surgeons placed a metal rod in his leg to stabilize the leg. No plan for cancer treatment has been discussed yet. Chris has a wife of 28 years at home, who he and his sons regularly care for because she is disabled due to Huntington’s disease. She was denied social security benefits, however, we are in the process of reapplying. With Chris being unable to work and no known date of returning to work, the family of four is in dire need of short term financial assistance until all the appropriate agencies are contacted and applications reviewed and hopefully, approved. The hope is to raise enough money to help them not worry about paying rent and electricity and putting food on the table until they receive the assistance they so desperately need from our government agencies, which can take a long time. Any donation you can make will be a blessing to the family and so very appreciated. Chris has never been one to ask for help, so this GoFundMe request is a huge deal for him and the family. He has, however, always been the first one to help others, and to put himself last. He can’t be in last place right now. Please, help in any way you can...and God bless each of you for your prayers, positive vibes, and donations to help him not to worry about living expenses, but to focus on healing. #chriskillscancer
