I’m starting this fundraiser on behalf of a close family friend who recently experienced a very serious accident.

He had come from Pennsylvania this weekend to visit my brother, as they have been best friends for years. While in town, he was spending time with friends when he was involved in an electrical bike accident.

At just 16 years old, he suffered multiple severe injuries, including a broken jaw in three places, broken ribs, and a fractured clavicle. He is currently receiving medical care and has a long road to recovery ahead.

His mom immediately drove over two hours from Pennsylvania to be by his side, and as you can imagine, this has been an incredibly overwhelming and emotional time for their family. Unfortunately, they are facing this situation without medical insurance, which makes the financial burden even more difficult.

He’s like a little brother to me, and seeing him go through something like this is heartbreaking. I just want to do anything I can to support him and his family during this time.

We are asking for any support you can give whether that’s donating or simply sharing this page. Every contribution, no matter the size, will go directly toward his medical expenses and recovery.

Estoy comenzando esta recaudación de fondos en nombre de un amigo cercano de la familia que recientemente sufrió un accidente muy grave.

Este fin de semana vino desde Pensilvania para visitar a mi hermano, ya que han sido mejores amigos durante años. Mientras estaba en la ciudad, pasaba tiempo con amigos cuando estuvo involucrado en un accidente con una bicicleta eléctrica.

Con tan solo 16 años, sufrió múltiples lesiones graves, incluyendo la mandíbula rota en tres partes, costillas fracturadas, y una clavícula fracturada. Actualmente está recibiendo atención médica y tiene un largo camino de recuperación por delante.

Su mamá condujo inmediatamente más de dos horas desde Pensilvania para estar a su lado, y como pueden imaginar, este ha sido un momento increíblemente abrumador y emocional para su familia. Lamentablemente, están enfrentando esta situación sin seguro médico, lo que hace que la carga financiera sea aún más difícil.

Él es como un hermanito para mí, y verlo pasar por algo así es desgarrador. Solo quiero hacer todo lo posible para apoyarlo a él y a su familia durante este tiempo.
