I will finally get a new kidney come June 13th, 2025. For the last two years, I have been on home dialysis. I am the sole provider for my family, and I want to make sure my family is taken care of while I am away from work for the next four months while I recover. Disability only covers so much, and between medications, travel expenses, and home care, it has taken a toll on my family's financial needs. I am not too proud to ask for this financial help, since I have always found a way to come out on top, but my immune system will be minimized, and I will have to be away from people and work.
