Our beloved and respected employee, Jesus Sandoval, tragically lost his son Carlos Manuel Sandoval Palma on September 2, 2021 at the age of 20. Carlos was a wonderful son, brother and friend who touched the lives of those around him. His kindness, compassion and smile will never be forgotten.

Carlos dedicated his life to helping those in need. He was a student at Academia Privada Tecnomedic in Monjas Jalapa, Guatemala, training to become a nurse. It was at the hospital where he was working alongside a doctor helping to care for a child dying of COVID-19 that he contracted the virus himself. Carlos spent 10 days in a private hospital but due to high medical costs he was transferred to a public hospital where he sadly passed away two days later.

His family is devastated by the sudden loss of Carlos and was not prepared for the high costs of his medical care and funeral service. We are hoping to raise $15,000 as soon as possible to help cover the cost of Carlos' medical and funeral expenses. All money will go directly to his family.
