Hi! I’m Adriana, and I am fundraising for my dear friend Genevieve and her small business - Little Hedgehog Toys.
She is the most amazing friend, wife, and mother to 3 precious boys. COVID has forced many changes upon all of us, and it impacted her work situation. So, she started this small business making gorgeous, handmade wooden toys — with a focus on reparations, social justice, and representation of all types of families and people of color.
She is quite literally putting joy and goodness into the world, and someone set fire to her car outside of her apartment - which served as her workshop and storage for her business. Her inventory, supplies, and tools were lost in this terrible, deliberate act. Her car was also non-op (since she wasn’t driving due to covid!), so car insurance is really no help to get any amount for either the car or her materials.
