UPDATE 11/26/25
My daughter, her fiancé, and their two small boys were involved in a horrific head-on collision while driving home from the gym on a two-lane road. A truck suddenly swerved into oncoming traffic and struck their vehicle head-on. All four of them were rushed to the hospital by ambulance. Thankfully, the boys, ages three and five, escaped with only minor injuries. However, my daughter had to undergo surgery to repair broken bones in her lower leg and remains hospitalized. Her fiancé suffered a fractured femur and vertebrae, which, while serious, thankfully do not require surgery. Both parents are now facing a long road to recovery and will be out of work for the foreseeable future. To make matters worse, they lost the use of their main vehicle in the accident.
The financial strain is overwhelming. The funds raised will go directly toward replacing their lost wages and covering essential living expenses. There are also considerable medical bills to pay, as all four were transported to the hospital by ambulance and both parents required extended hospital stays. My daughter will need to spend additional time in a rehabilitation facility after she is discharged, which means she will be unable to return to work for even longer.
Any donations we receive would be greatly appreciated and will be used for bare necessities, especially during this time of year as we approach Thanksgiving and Christmas. It’s going to be difficult to give the boys any kind of Christmas this year. I want to let each of you know how much your support means to us—we are deeply thankful for any help you are able to give.
