Winter is Coming - Help Heat Families

I know times are tough right now for a lot of people, but I have a small favor to ask. I am hoping if enough people are able to donate a few dollars we can help these wonderful people in Ukraine!

Ivan Pukish is a very dear longtime friend of our family. He is an old high school classmate of our sister in law Mariya and our brother also operated on his young son Mykhailo who had a brain tumor a few years back.

When Luke, Mariya, and Motrya were last in Ukraine in April it was Ivan who picked them up at the border and drove them around the country to check on family and friends.

He has worked tirelessly the last months to assist with the humanitarian war effort - raising money for a van to evacuate people in occupied areas and helping to rebuild damaged houses from missile strikes.

He has himself done countless runs across the country transferring supplies and aid. His young family (he, his wife Ksenia, and son and daughter) live in Irpin and their home was also damaged.

Now that winter is coming they are without heat the majority of the time. As with all Ukrainians we know he never asked directly for help, saying they were doing okay and had sleeping bags and that it hadn’t gotten “all that cold” yet … but we are very concerned about the winter and would very much like to get them two power stations (one for them and one for their elderly parents). Also their son recently was hospitalized with pneumonia and continues rehabilitative therapy related to his earlier surgeries.

It would be a huge blessing to provide them a way to heat their home during these next months. They are beautiful, wonderful, big hearted, resilient people that we love very much … and any help is greatly appreciated All proceeds collected will go towards humanitarian efforts in Ukraine.
