I grew up watching my two kids come home from the Boys & Girls Club with dirt on their shoes and confidence in their voices. The Club was more than after-school care. It was a place where they felt safe, where adults believed in them, and where small moments of support helped shape who they became. For Kids Day Out's 45th anniversary, I want to pay that kindness forward so other families can find the same steadying hand when they need it most.
