When the typhoon struck the Philippines, entire communities were swallowed by water. Families climbed onto their rooftops—terrified, clinging to one another—just to stay alive. Families like my very own. In a matter of hours, homes, belongings, and memories were swept away.
These are mothers and fathers, children and grandparents—people who worked hard, loved deeply, and prayed for safety as the floodwaters rose. Now, many are left with nothing but their faith and the hope that help will come. While the storm has passed, the struggle to rebuild has just begun.
I know the Filipino people may seem far away, but compassion knows no borders. What matters most is family .Even if we’re miles away, compassion bridges every distance. Faith reminds us that we are called to care for one another, especially in times of loss and fear. Every act of kindness, every prayer, every donation—no matter the amount—becomes part of the answer to someone’s desperate prayer.
Your support will help provide emergency relief—food, clean water, clothing, and temporary shelter—to families who have lost everything. Together, we can remind them that they are not forgotten, that love and faith still rise higher than the floodwaters.
If you’ve ever held onto hope when everything else felt uncertain, you already understand what these families are facing. Please consider giving what you can. Every dollar helps rebuild a life, a home, and a future.
Even in the darkest moments, light shines through people who care. Let’s be that light.
