Help Melanie Rebuild After the Devastating Floods of Helene.

Hi there. This page is for Melanie Thomas and her 11 year old son Alex. I’m her friend and I’m setting up this page for her. She lived on the corner first floor apartment, which was ripped in half by the flood waters. We are all thankful they are safe, but as a result, lost everything they owned. The water knocked out the window frame of the living room and water rushed in and took everything that was in the living room and kitchen. The rest of the apartment had almost six feet of water throughout, so everything they owned was ruined. The renters insurance doesn’t cover floods and the apartment complex made it very clear that they aren’t going to help with anything. Melanie has applied for FEMA and we’re doing everything possible to get them back on track. Melanie is not one to ask for anything. I’m asking PLEASE HELP anything you could spare would help. Any small donation collaboratively would mean so much her and her family. A glimpse of a fresh start would be such a blessing. Thank you all!!!
