Hi, I’m Max Koenig from Baraboo, Wisconsin. I’m embarking on an 8,000-mile bike ride from Sri Lanka to Mongolia to raise $8,000 for the Restoring Hope House, a lodging program that help families stay close to their loved ones during cancer treatment and medical procedures.

This cause is personal—my mom has battled stage 4 Non-Hodgkins lymphoma twice, and I’ve seen firsthand how vital a strong “team” is when facing cancer. Many families aren’t as lucky to live near treatment centers, and my goal is to give them the same support and comfort my family had.
