Rebuilding Roofs in North East St. Elizabeth ❤️

The Content and Paradise Districts in North East St. Elizabeth, Jamaica, were among the hardest hit by Hurricane Melissa. Many families have lost their roofs, leaving homes exposed to the elements and making day-to-day life a struggle.

While national aid and international relief are expected to focus first on major tourist and economic areas, smaller rural communities like these are often left waiting. Families are working tirelessly to repair what they can, but resources and materials are scarce.

This fundraiser was created to get direct help where it’s needed most. All funds will go toward:

• Purchasing roofing materials (zinc sheets, lumber, nails, waterproofing)

• Paying local tradespeople and builders within the community

• Assisting families whose homes have been damaged or left roofless

Every dollar raised will be shared directly through trusted local contacts within these two districts to ensure that materials and repairs go straight to affected households - not through large organizations or middlemen.

My name is Tori Pennings Cosimano, from Warwick, New York, where my family runs Pennings Farm & Cidery. Three of our employees are from the Content and Paradise communities, and through them, we’re coordinating this effort to support their families and neighbors back home.
