Hi. My name is Herman Pappoe I am a passionate healthcare worker and part-time self-proclaimed activist based in the US. I am fundraising for a family in Gaza who has been very close to me.

I have been in contact with them for several years. Sana is their mother. She has 5 children ages 8 to 20, 2 girls and 3 boys. They are all excellent students. The oldest, Lamis, was enrolled in business school. She is excelling in her studies. The youngest is Mohammed. He’s adorable. I first met him when he was 4 and having asthma attacks and helped get him an inhaler.

Sana is an excellent mother. She has raised the kids alone.

Recently during the Zionist onslaught their home was burned to the ground. Now they have no shelter and no access or means to properly feed themselves. Some of the family was injured in two aerial strikes. No one deserves this, and certainly not Sana and her children.

This atrocity against the people of Gaza has put a toll on Sana and the children physical and mental health. They now want to leave Gaza. However, leaving the biggest air prison in the world is unfairly and expensive undertaking that will require approximately 10k for each person. That is their wishes to escape the imminent and constant threat of loss of life. I want to help make that possible for them.

For now, however, they need food, water, clothes, blankets as their tents do not provide adequate shelter from the cold.

As most of you know the Israeli occupation has, in addition to blocking humanitarian aid from arriving to Gaza, have disabled many of the platforms which funds are transferred in Gaza i.e. PayPal, WesternUnion. Therefore, I plan to send the funds directly to Sana’s account. The funds will be wired to her account directly, so she can have immediate access to the funds and won’t have to worry about the occupation government seizing the transfers.

"My name is Sana, a mother of five. I was a resident of Bureij camp in the Gaza Strip but had to be

displaced like all other residents of Gaza several times and still we have no home. The humanitarian situation is very disastrous. Helplessness, hunger, danger and diseases are everywhere here. You can help me with Exiting Gaza for me and my children and saving us from this hell and being an angel that embraces us from this torment. There are dreams and hopes that we have that are not complete. There is no return to education in Gaza for even a full year. There are no health institutions to carry out any emergency or operations. There is a scarcity of medicines and public facilities that have been completely destroyed. My children are psychologically broken. My eldest daughter is studying at the university. She studies business administration. She has a bachelor’s degree. She finished three years with a scholarship from the university and has one year left. She is very passionate. In administration and economics, she is the head of the business administration club at her university. Everyone says that she is distinguished. She dreams of finishing her studies and working, but where does she work in the rubble of Gaza? My son Abdullah loves programming and recently finished high school. He loves programming and hopes to study programming. My son is a pioneer, a skilled, talented swimmer. He obtained a swimming lifeguard certificate. My children have dreams that have not yet begun. Can you draw the escape hole from which my children depart with their dreams, abilities and potentials to a safe place that embraces them?"
