2. In terms of transferring the amount, the money would be transferred from US -> India through Xoom and then handed to the teacher.

Dear Alumnis and Supporters,
Being an Amrit Jyoti Alumni from 94 batch, I am heart broken to see that our dearest school is going through a very rough patch where more than 50% of the students and families affected by COVID have been unable to pay fees. This is deeply straining the school, staff and infrastructure which is not acceptable since this school has produced some of the best, brightest and diverse set of successful people who are in different parts of the world.
Manjibhai who has been school's guardian for last 25 years has been unable to pay fees for his grandchildren. This is due to a mix of economic challenges caused by COVID. This is a school which now primarily serves lower and lower-middle class students and the ONLY schools that offers are variable fee structure to support these families with the best education.
The funds will be distributed as follows:
- Pay Teachers
- Pay for students whose parents cannot afford to pay.
This is the time to help a school that helped you during your younger years.
