Hi everyone, my name is Dhiyaa Ravi, and I am a high schooler in North Carolina. This cause is very personal to me as my family member is a burn survivor being treated at UNC for severe burns. Since then, I have always wanted to support people who are going through similar traumatic experiences.

 Recently, a devastating three-alarm fire broke out at the Camden Westwood Apartments in Morrisville. Around 70 residents were forced to evacuate their homes, many losing essential belongings. Several people were treated for smoke inhalation, and one person was hospitalized with burns. You can read more about this incident here :

 Seeing something like this happen in our own community is heartbreaking, and I wanted to do something to help. Through this fundraiser, 100% of the money raised will be donated directly to NeighborUp, a local nonprofit that provides emergency assistance such as temporary housing support, food, clothing, and other critical resources to families in crisis. Every donation no matter the amount, will help provide immediate relief and support to families who are trying to recover after this devastating fire.
