My name is Sujan, and I’m originally from Nepal and now based in the UK. I’m raising this money independently to support people affected by the devastating flooding in Nepal.

I don’t have a personal relationship with the individual families affected, and this fundraiser is not affiliated with the Government of Nepal. I’m raising funds independently on behalf of the wider community to support the official relief efforts taking place in Nepal.

My initial goal is £5,000. All funds raised through this GoFundMe, after any applicable GoFundMe transaction or processing fees, will be withdrawn by me and transferred to the Government of Nepal’s official disaster relief fund to support relief and recovery efforts for people affected by the flooding.

I will provide an update and confirmation of the donation once the funds have been transferred.
