Hello, my name is Jocelyne Alarcón, currently living in California and this past weekend(since February 2nd) my hometown is being affected by a mega fire in Viña del mar, Chile.

The whole neighborhood where my parents, siblings and many other family members lives has been reduced to ashes and they have lost their homes and everything they own, all they have at this moment is the clothes they were wearing at the moment of the evacuation. Neighbors have died in the fire trying to escape. There are many elder people and children that need the most basic stuff, like clothes, food, water and shelter.

The scenario is so sad, chaotic and devastating, and the danger haven't even pass yet. Fires are still ongoing in many different areas.

I've been sending them as much as I can already, but this emergency is much bigger than what I can do for them. That's why I ask for anyone that can contribute with this cause, right now everything helps, including sharing this fundraising with others you know. This is not just for my family, but for many families in the area to help them get back on their feet.
