Hi, my name is Sherissa, I am the owner a of A Paws to Learn LLC, a Professional dog training business located in Prescott, Arizona. The goal of this fundraiser is to establish a Scholarship Fund to aid families who can't afford essential training for their dogs.

We often receive calls from individuals who are in need of training but have financial constraints. Many of them are disabled, seniors with limited income, or young families on tight budgets. Some require service dog training to assist with their disabilities, need help managing a lively puppy, or to address a dog's aggression towards people or their other pets. Whatever the case, they're in desperate need of assistance, and unfortunately, I can't help them all alone.

This is where your support becomes crucial. With your help, we can offer services to families in need at a fraction of the cost! Every dollar you donate will be matched by A Paws to Learn LLC and eligible qualifying families will receive a Scholarship covering 2/3 of the cost of their training!!

So, for instance, A family needing a $600 training course would pay $200 out of pocket and receive a Scholarship worth $400! Of that $400 scholarship, $200 would come from this fund (covered by donors like you!) and $200 would be matched by us at A Paws to Learn LLC.

Consider this: in 2023, our local humane society took in 1,897 dogs. How many of them wound up there due to behaviors that are entirely trainable? Issues like housebreaking, separation anxiety, escaping, destructive behavior, and even aggression can be addressed with the right guidance.

With the support of this fund, we can assist families on a case-by-case basis, ensuring they receive the support they need. To maintain transparency, I'll periodically update this fund and share stories and pictures of the animals and families who stay together, and improve each other's lives through your generosity!
