My mother, a beloved member of the Familia Deleon, was recently diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis. This devastating condition has caused her to lose about 40% of her lung capacity, making everyday life a struggle. We have been working closely with the doctors at Baylor Scott & White in Dallas, who are conducting tests to place her on the waiting list for a lung transplant. Without this life-saving procedure, her doctors have told us she may only have about two years left.

The journey to a transplant is overwhelming, both emotionally and financially. The funds raised through this campaign will go directly toward covering hospital bills and the deductible for her transplant and ongoing care.
