The Covid crisis has certainly affected us all.
It is a sad fact that many hardworking businesses are closing and others are still struggling to stay open.
For me and my business partner (my mother), it was not easy to open a store in a country we were new to and we barely understood Dutch, but we did it! With a lot of effort, enthusiasm, sweat and tears we managed to make our dream come true.
Day by day, we were offering new and unique merchandise after personally bringing it from South America, getting to know our amazing clientele, who often complimented the store and understanding which products were sought after.
We were extremely happy when we opened the shop in Den Bosch.
In the Netherlands, since December 13th, all stores were told to close until the further notice, which was supposed to be February the 9th.
On february the 1st, they notified that the stores would remain closed.
This means that in December, the month where we had faith in selling a lot and paying the debts from previous months, we were unable to achieve this, as the stores remained closed.
We have been in debt for months and which means we are close to having to sadly close the store permanently.
Being foreigners, we had so much difficulty communicating and getting help from the government. That's why, with your help, we can keep the store going.
We faithfully ask for your collaboration to be able to continue maintaining this place that you and we love so much. Hopefully, this would allow us to rise again after these awful times.
