Hi, my name is Noor, I am raising funds for Faiz Khan, a 21-year-old student from Afghanistan who has been living in pain for years.

For a long time, Faiz has suffered from severe pain and swelling in his right thigh. Hospitals in Afghanistan tried to treat him with medications, but nothing worked. The pain kept getting worse, affecting his daily life, his studies, and his future. Surgery is now the only option.

After four months of exhausting effort, paperwork, and uncertainty, Faiz and his sister finally managed to obtain a visa to Pakistan for medical treatment. His sister is with him to care for him before, during, and after the surgery. They are alone in a foreign country, far from home and support.

To make this possible, his father who is a simple school teacher, borrowed money from relatives and banks to pay for visa fees, travel, accommodation, hospital visits, MRIs, and medical tests. Every penny spent so far is borrowed money.

Now doctors have confirmed that he needs urgent surgery to remove the mass in his thigh. The hospital in Pakistan requires an initial deposit of CAD$ 2500 for the procedure and hospital stay.

But time is running out.

Their visa will expire in just one month. Extending it is expensive and extremely difficult in their situation. If the surgery is delayed, they may be forced to return home without treatment, back to years of pain and uncertainty.

Faiz is only 21. He works part-time while studying and earns just CAD$ 150 per month — barely enough for his education. He dreams of finishing his studies and supporting his family. Instead, he is fighting constant pain and financial hardship.

They have done everything they could. They sold what they could. They borrowed what they could. Now they truly need help.
