Help Faith with her journey to recovery

As some of you know Faith Kickbush had a stroke on the morning of Tuesday December 29th. Faith is a 13 year old girl with down syndrome, who has survived many health struggles throughout her life. Faith is loved by so many and this has been such a hard time for her and her family. Faith has been in hospital ever since this day, and is to be in there for an unknown amount of time that is expected to be of longer length. Faith is a strong girl who on this morning lost her speech, movement of her left arm and legs, her smile, and her swallowing abilities. Since then she has gained movement in her left arm (but no strength), she has been able to smile again, speech is back but slurred, standing is being worked on, and swallowing has come back. Faith had to have surgery to place a feeding tube into her stomach as through the nose was not an option. She has been able to eat on her own again which is an amazing sign. Faith's family was told for good access to therapy they would need to go to Vancouver, BC children's hospital. This news has made things even harder for the family financially. Ben (dad), and Christa (mom) have 4 daughters all of school age. They both were working full time until the stroke happened. At the beginning weeks of the stroke they both took time off resulting in income loss. Since then they have been able to both go in working minimal hours  which means a lack of income for the family. In order for Faith to be able to go to Vancouver for the therapy she needs to regain her strength and movement an increase in financial well-being would be ideal. We are still in the dark as to how long Faith will need treatment in Vancouver and as to when she will be transported. The money raised for the family will go towards both replacing lost income and towards Faiths therapy, future equipment needs, or future individual rehab. I am hoping that some of you could donate to our beloved Kickbush family and Faith, to help support them all along the way. The family will be of great gratitude to all of you who donate, share, repost etc... This has been a very hard time for the family and everything helps.
