Help Faith Study Abroad in ENGLAND!
Donation protected
Hi! I'm Faith, a sophomore Journalism major hoping to study abroad for two weeks from May 18th to June 1st! This will be my very first time outside of the U.S. and although I've covered the first half of costs, I need help covering the second half by May 18th.
If I reach my goal of $2,360 (originally $3,850 before $1,490 of outside donations), I will be able to not only cover the final trip payment, but also pay for meals while abroad, the cost of the 4-credit course, any costs incurred on self-guided "free days," and special keepsakes.
Any amount donated is incredibly appreciated no matter how big or small you may view it. And if you can't donate, I appreciate if you simply share this fundraiser to your social media.
The program is called Regional Writers of England and is a faculty-led program that will allow me to explore London, Stonehenge, Oxford, Stratford on Avon, and Bath with a small group of students. I will prep for the trip by reading/viewing works by famous British authors which I will then get to learn more about once in England. From seeing Jane Austen's cottage, to touring the Roman Baths, to visiting Stonehenge, to touring Harry Potter sets at Warner Bros. Studio, it will be an incredible experience for someone like me who loves good literature, British culture, and exploring. Additionally, I will be completing a Summer Creative Arts and Research Program (SCARP) Project through my College, culminating in several travel writing pieces about the trip published to my own website and a presentation on the process of travel writing.
