Help Faith Shamley Bring Global Impact to Life at Oxford & Cambridge
I’ve been accepted into two prestigious international leadership programs — and I need your help to get there.
This summer, I’ve been invited to join two powerful global experiences August 23rd-30th:
- HISA Youth Fellowship at the University of Oxford
- Global Business Symposium at the University of Cambridge
These programs are built for young leaders with a vision for global change — and they are exactly what I need to equip myself to drive real, lasting impact in the nonprofit and philanthropic space.
Why This Matters
I’m going into my senior year at Morris Brown College, where I study Organizational Management and Leadership. My dream is to become a global changemaker — expanding access to resources, capital, and support for underrepresented leaders and nonprofits.
These two global leadership programs at Oxford and Cambridge are not routine opportunities. Thousands of highly qualified applicants are turned away each year. My selection as a delegate reflects the confidence global leaders see in my journey.
These Oxford and Cambridge programs will:
- Grant me exclusive access to international leadership and business certification experiences at two of the most prestigious universities in the world
- Equip me with mentorship from global experts in nonprofit innovation, leadership, and social impact
- Expand my reach by connecting me with delegates from over 70 countries, building a global network of mission-aligned changemakers
- Strengthen my credibility with world-class certificates from Cambridge and Oxford, unlocking future opportunities in funding, partnerships, and graduate study
- Give me critical insight and practical tools to scale my work with Reach Worldwide and drive lasting equity through my role at BackBlack
What I’ve Already Done
I am currently working two jobs (with BackBlack and as a server through the night) while also remaining an A student at Morris Brown. I have been able to cover about $800 of the program fees so far out of my pocket, but I need help from my community to raise the remaining funds.
My mission is already in motion. Here’s what your support would help me build on:
