Hello, my name is Angela. I am raising money for my sister Faith after her cancer diagnosis. Faith is a 31-year-old, she has an 8-year-old daughter named Skylynn and a husband named Kiefer.

On the 25th of June, my sister went into surgery to have a mass removed from her neck. A few days later, she got a phone call that no one ever wants to get; the mass was cancerous.

She was diagnosed with metastatic papillary thyroid cancer. The doctors quickly made a plan to remove her thyroid. Her second surgery happened on July 21st to remove her thyroid and any cancerous lymph nodes in her neck to give her a fighting chance. They ended up taking a lot of lymph nodes out along with her thyroid.

She is now recovering from surgery and has to go through radioactive iodine treatment weeks later to kill off any more existing cancer cells left in her body.

Faith is currently at high risk of recurrence and will be getting scans every 3-6 months to make sure the cancer doesn't come back, along with all the blood work that will be needed to manage her levels for the rest of her life.

I know she would never ask for help with her medical bills, so I am doing it for her because she shouldn't have to worry about finances during this time.
