Hi everyone,

My name is Faith, and I’m a fighter.

I was diagnosed with a very rare disease called megaesophagus, a condition that makes it hard for me to eat and keep food down. Every time I eat, I have to sit completely upright for 20–30 minutes just to help the food go where it’s supposed to. Even then, I sometimes regurgitate, and when that happens, food or liquid can enter my lungs. This has caused aspiration pneumonia, which makes it very hard for me to breathe and requires frequent vet visits and treatment.

Faith came into our lives at a time when we needed her the most. We had just lost our childhood dog of 14 years, and somehow Faith appeared at the right place at the right time. She became part of our family instantly. About six months later, she started showing signs of this condition, and our lives changed.

We’ve been back and forth to the vet multiple times, and the medical bills are adding up fast. It’s becoming really hard on my mom, and I want to do everything I can to help her and Faith. Every dollar raised will go directly toward vet visits, treatments, medications, and ongoing care so Faith can keep fighting.
