Hello wonderful creatures!!! I’m Fairy Prin (Just Prin is also fine)
I’m ecstatic to share that this November (2024) I’ll be getting a gender affirming care procedure done: Top Surgery!
For those of you who may not know me, I’d love to share a bit about myself :)
Im a 26 year old POC queer trans-nonbinary (they/them or fae/faer pronouns) individual. Truly just a fairy trapped inside a human body ♀️
I love connecting with nature (I have more tree friends than I can count fingers),allowing my inner child to reign free, Learning about the lives + journeys of others; but most importantly, sharing divine experiences with other earthly creatures of all forms. I believe these are some of the most important things to understand my spirit!
When I was young I’ve always felt something about me was strange, without being able to explain why. As I hit puberty I discovered that it was my body. At the time I didn’t have a word for it; as I became an adult and learned about gender identity I discovered that Dysphoria was what I was experiencing. I met wonderful people in the queer community and quickly disconnected from all the labels that were originally placed onto me during my youth - allowing me to forage my own identity. Allowing myself to be fluid in my identity and self expression has been one of the most empowering things I have ever done for myself. It’s time I become whole and completely comfortable in my body. Trans health is absolutely crucial to our mental, emotional, physical and even spiritual well being. Sure , this surgery is elective; but it is also proactive to improve and maintain our mental health. I knew with certainty before starting taking testosterone that it would save my life, and it did. I have no doubt that receiving this gender affirming care will also increase my quality of life!
With that said, I’m fundraising to help with some cost of the procedure, supplies needed for recovery, time off work (4-6 weeks, could end up being 8), travel for the procedure and care for my dog during recovery. I’m reaching out to my community for anyone who feels generous to help! If you don’t feel inclined, that’s completely okay! Please consider sharing; that is also very helpful!! If you’ve read this far, you’re so awesome :)
Thank you all so much.
Sending love + gratitude your way ✨♀️☺️
