As you know the #WOOLSEYFIRE has devastated most of us in Malibu and surrounding areas including myself. All structures burned to the ground with just one barn standing . We were cut off from the world and no one was allowed to come help us or send us supplies. Losing everything was bad enough and then not being allowed any help is pure insanity! We had no water, electricity, but luckily I had my truck to sleep in which unfortunately that was extremely damaged along with my trailer evacuating other barns. I still can’t wrap my head around most of beautiful Malibu being gone and especially my farm!I have struggled the last 3 years with major health issues, having surgeries and finally built an amazing business and life was looking great again just to see it all burn to the ground. My health will always be a battle and now I have to worry about how I will pay for insurance monthly and many other treatments that are very costly.
I have been doing evacuations for 25 years. Anytime anyone needs help they know I will be there in a heartbeat and sometimes like last years fires #THOMASFIRE -#LILACFIRE I stayed up for 8 days straight to get animals to safety. I will always be there to help and most of the time it’s spending my money on fuel and boarding evacuated horses. I think this fire was so massive and people haven’t heard how desperate we are for help! I have been on my tractor for 3 weeks straight just clearing things, so I can get my business up and running. I am always the one to help everyone and get them going again, but now I need your help PLEASE! Since we were not allowed to go pick up donations I missed getting the immediate needs..Hay and Shavings! As many of you know I’m not one to ask for help, but I am now asking for our community to come together! Even if you could donate $5.00 it all adds up! PLEASE friends help! Thank you to the people who have helped me with time and any money! The craziest thing is most have been strangers, but now friends for life! Thank you for the people who believe in me that have returned to Fairview Farms and the new amazing people to come!
