Help Faiq Fight GVHD

Hello everyone, this fund raiser is for Faiq Farhan, a 10 years old child who is in Karachi Pakistan. This fund raiser is created to help his parents raise money for a treatment that will free him from GVHD. Faiq is a bright smiling child and is a fighter who now needs your support to help him live a healthy life like other children of his age group.

 

At age of 7 Faiq was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia in 2017 and got admitted in Indus Hospital Karachi but due to unsuccessful result was shifted to Aga Khan Hospital, Karachi in September 2019 for the chemotherapy treatment till his maintenance therapy. In 2019 he developed unremitting high-grade fever as complications of the treatment diagnosis of relapsed Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia and retreatment of chemotherapy specific and declared cleared from disease on 01-01-2020. Further Bone marrow transplant of Faiq was performed in Aga Khan Hospital, Karachi on 13-02-2020 and donor was his own mother. As a complication of that transplant poor kid is now suffering from Extensive Chronic (GVHD) and needs immediate treatment is Armed Forces Bone Marrow Transplant Centre Rawalpindi, Pakistan. He is candidate for Extracorporeal Photopheresis (ECP) which is estimated to be of 2 Million PKR. Doctors have shared confidence that undergoing this treatment, he will be cleared from

this disease.
