Help FAINMOUS BBQ Move & Rebuild

We are James and Karen Fain, owners of FAINMOUS BBQ. In late 2018, we were invited to build out our restaurant at 1201 Oliver St #50 with promises of a thriving new development. We poured our hearts into the buildout, but by the end of 2019 and the start of 2020, everything changed. The COVID pandemic hit, and all the development plans we counted on fell through. Our landlord sold two adjacent properties, leading to years of construction that literally closed off access to our space. During this time, our retail business shut down, and we had to let go of all our employees. We shifted our focus to catering, determined to keep our business alive.

For five years, we worked hard to build our catering business and even launched a new retail concept. Despite our best efforts, the rent charged during the COVID and construction period was too much to overcome. Now, we are faced with the reality that we must move. We are seeking support to help us relocate our catering operation and set up shop for catering and light retail in a new space.

We want to thank everyone for their support and ask for your help and prayers as we move forward in this next chapter. Our journey has been filled with challenges, but we hope our story encourages others that no matter how bad things get, there is always hope for a brighter tomorrow. Just keep showing up!
