Help Fadra Fight stage 4 lung cancer!

On behalf of my brother, sister and I we want to let everyone know that our mom, our sweet Mia, Fadra Danna was diagnosed in March with stage 4 lung cancer that has spread to her bone. This came after a long 3 months of tests, waiting and then more and more tests.

She started daily radiation last week, April 10th but they have had to stop radiation temporarily due to her being placed in the Acute Cancer Care Center at MD Anderson for what they think is a severe kidney infection.

If you know my mom you know that she would never ask for financial help, which is why I am doing so. With her family and friends taking her to and from MD Anderson, with the added expenses of gas, hotels, medications and medical bills, the costs are adding up and adding up fast. We want our mom to be able to fight this fight without having to worry about any financial burdens.

If you’re able to donate, please know that means so much to us but more than that, we ask for prayers. We pray for strength, we pray for her pain to be manageable, we pray for her appetite, and most importantly we pray for complete healing over her body. As my mom has said from the beginning “Gods got this”. Her fight has started and we are ready to fight beside her every step of the way. She is loved by so many and I know that God will be flooded with prayers. If you could cover our mom in prayer- that would mean more to us than any donation ever could. I wanted to thank everyone for donating and all the calls and texts. We are so appreciative of your prayers, you have no idea. My mom was transferred Via medical transport from MD Anderson to the in patient facility at hospice in the pines. Treatment is no longer an option for her as it would do more harm than good at this point.. her body is weak but her spirit is still very strong. We brought her home to keep her comfortable and so that she is able to be surrounded by family and friends. The donations here are going to help give us the financial ability to do this, so thank you all. Please continue praying for my momma. I have been reading her the comments, messages and prayers ya’ll have been sending and they always make her smile
