Fadi Ahmed Al-Kahlot is 20 years old, and had just graduated from high school with his twin sister Hadeel when the war broke out in Gaza. Below is a picture from their graduation.

They had started the first week of university, Fadi to become and pharmacist and Hadeel to become a nurse. Everything stopped on the 7th of October, and since then, the University of Palestine has been bombed, along with all the universities in Gaza.

Below, the University of Palestine before and what is left standing after the bombing.

Originally from Beit Lahia in the North of the Gaza Strip, the Al Kahlot family lost their home and livelihood and had to flee to Deir Al-Balah where they found shelter. Their home and entire neighbourhood in the North was bombed and burned down by the occupation. Fadi's family is one of the few families who survived, and they have lost most of their relatives, friends and neighbors. Recently, the family received the news that the occupation have started to bulldoze the entire village. Below are the last pictures they received of their home and neighborhood.

Your donations will go towards Fadi's family: his father Ahmed, his mother Suhair, and his siblings Hadeel (20), Muhammad (17), Nour (14), Islam (12), and Lian (8).

We are hoping to continue supporting Fadi and Hadeel's dreams of becoming healthcare professionals, so that one day they can serve their community. Because there are no university left standing in Gaza, their project is to go abroad where they would be able to continue their studies. However because of the famine, every new donation will be entirely dedicated to providing the family with food and basic necessities.
Any donation, big or small, will bring hope and make a difference in the life of Fadi and his family. We are deeply grateful for your support.
