Help Fabian's Family Navigate Tough Times
Donation protected

Hey Everyone!
As much as, Fabian and I hate doing this, we are turning to our family and friends for some help in this difficult time that we are having.
Just a little backstory on what has led us to this point.
On January 29th, we were told that the company we were both working for was being sold to a different company. We were both offered jobs with the new company and we both accepted those jobs. We both had some reservations being that we’ve been in the insurance industry long enough to know when they were blowing smoke. Being that I just came off of maternity leave in early January we both knew that we needed to maintain our jobs to get back above water. After spending 3 weeks in training and being told different things from every person we talked to we finally hit the phones again, which meant the commission should start flowing. & it did not. Neither Fabian or I made more than a couple hundred dollars in commission so we went from making decent money to just getting by.
On April 23rd, after being out of work for 3 days due to my system crashing, I got a call from my direct supervisor’s boss. He was calling to fire me. I tried to apply for unemployment but because they over paid me in 2020 (COVID) they denied my claim. I have been out of work for 2 months now. I am in the process of onboarding with a new company but it is gonna be another week or 2 before everything is done. I am waiting on contracts from Humana and United Health to come through so I can start working again.
To add to everything that has happened, Fabian has been busting his butt at the same company that fired me but he is at the end of his time there. We know that the end is coming there for him & then we are going to really be in trouble. Since he knows the end is near he has been applying to different places but so far he has had no luck. So even if I start my job in the next week or two we will still be in the same position we are now. 1 income for a household that truly needs 2. In this day and age it is impossible to survive on 1 income.
In June, our rent went up to $2,000. For the month of July we are still short $900 on rent & Fabian doesn’t get paid again till July 5th. Our rent is due by the 3rd. Jr & KJ will be going back to school soon so we will have the added cost of school supplies, school clothes, school fees and anything else that comes with back to school time.
Any funds received will be used to pay our household bills (rent, electricity, phone, internet) & anything the kids need.
We are just asking for a little bit of help while we get back on our feet & promise to pay it forward when we are able.
If you have taken the time to read this far I want to thank you. If you can’t donate, we understand. We just ask that you share this for us. We never thought we would have to create something like this.
