The AMOR community is raising funds for a local family, to assist their father in supporting himself and rebuilding his business now that he has been deported to Bolivia. F is a loving husband, father of 3, and an avid photographer and videographer, whose life has been upended by ICE.
As ICE continues to invade our communities, and the immigration machine churns, many families are facing the immense pain of deportation. These deportations destroy families, both in tearing them apart and in creating financial hardship for families who have lost their sole provider. F is currently facing this terrible situation as he is separated from his family after his deportation and his wife must navigate caring for their 3 children and navigating through this trauma without him. F is a talented photographer and videographer who wants to use his creativity to support his family. AMOR is raising $5,000 to support F in starting his photography business once he is in Bolivia so he can continue to support his family in Rhode Island. With this support, he hopes to eventually secure housing that will allow him to be reunited with his family.
We ask you to keep this family in your hearts, and to please donate if you are able. There is no donation too small to help this family. If you are unable to make a donation, we ask that you please share widely with your networks. Your care and support will ease the burden on this family, as they navigate the pain and hardship caused by separation.
The funds will go to:
-Startup costs for F's business
-Assistance towards housing, with the hope that F can reunite with his family in Bolivia
