My name is Ezz, I am 24 years old, and I am from Gaza. I lived my life like any young person, but the war turned everything into a nightmare. In the first weeks of the war, I lost my father, my brother, and my sister. The war destroyed our lives in every sense of the word. In one moment, I lost the dearest people to my heart. But the suffering did not stop there.

I was arrested by the occupation forces and spent five months in prison, where I endured physical and psychological abuse. Five months in the occupation's prisons could break anyone, but I held on for my family, for my mother, and for my little sisters.

When I was released, I returned to an even harsher reality. There was no home waiting for me; instead, I was forced to live in a tent, without shelter or a clear future in sight. Nevertheless, I did not give up. Today, I live with my mother and my little sisters, Mayan (who is two years old) and Elia (who was born in the midst of the war and is now 10 months old). We live in difficult conditions, under a tent, with nothing but a glimmer of hope for a better tomorrow.

We need your help now more than ever—not just for me, but for my mother, who struggles every single day, and for my sisters, who were born into a time filled with destruction. We urgently need to rebuild our lives from scratch. We need shelter, healthcare, and hope for my little sisters' education.

Two-year-old Mayan needs security and love more than ever, while ten-month-old Elia faces a winter without the warmth of her father or her resort. We specialize every day in the hope that we will find someone who will help us, to be a hand to these two little girls whose innocence shines despite all this darkness.
