Help Ezrah's family.

Ezrah Schmidt is my long time friend. I recently found out about his fight to live. I have been in contact with his mom and have received her permission to do what I can to help them. Ezrah is 22 years old and was an important part of my acceptance into my new highschool when I moved to Lethbridge from a small town. He has a huge heart and would give anyone the shirt off his back.

His heart is now giving out. On October 20th of this year his uncle took him to the Lethbridge ER with fatigue, shortness of breath and coughing up blood. Not feeling well for months. After admission there was a anomaly found in his blood signifying a clotting issue. His left ventricle was only operating at 15%. This had formed a 3cm clot in his heart. Next to Foothills in Calgary where they wanted to implant a VAD but pneumonia impeded this. In the ICU he now sits on ECMO, in a sedation vacation, and on the heart transplant list. This is obviously a very trying time for his family. With all of the expenses that go along with this kind of heartache and hardship, I am asking for any financial assistance available.
