Ezrah has been a cherished member of my family for nearly four years, bringing energy and warmth to our home since the day he and his yellow lab brother, Benjamin, arrived. Ezrah is a vocal, friendly dog who loves meeting new people, sunbathing in the backyard, and playing with Benjamin every morning. His joyful spirit has made every day brighter for us.

On Wednesday 10/8, Ezrah was admitted to the emergency room with a severe case of pneumonia. He spent four nights in the hospital, receiving intensive care including IV fluid therapy, IV antibiotics, nebulization therapy with coupage, chest and abdominal radiographs, ultrasound scans, a canine respiratory disease PCR panel, pancreatitis test, and comprehensive bloodwork. The medical team worked tirelessly to stabilize him and provide the best possible treatment.

Ezrah is now recovering at home, but his journey is far from over. He remains on activity restriction, requires daily steam therapy, and is taking three antibiotics. His recovery is expected to take several weeks, with ongoing rechecks, possible radiographs, and medication refills needed to ensure the pneumonia is fully cleared. These unexpected veterinary expenses have created a significant financial strain, making it difficult to cover other important needs. Support from this fundraiser will go directly toward Ezrah’s medical bills and continued care, helping him return to his happy, healthy self.
