Hey, it's Ezra Arndt. I'm a disabled queer author of dark and Gothic fiction with a full-time day job (that doesn't quite pay enough to cover all of my medical debt that's affecting the rest of my finances). I'm creating this GoFundMe because I genuinely don't know what else to do.

I've recently been diagnosed with PCOS/PMOS and tentatively with endometriosis, which has severely affected my quality of life and ability to get into my day job every week (they're being extremely patient with me because they know my health is all over the place, but I'm still missing out on making the money I need to survive). And for the past six or so months, I've also been having an extremely difficult time finding foods that I can keep down due to either an immune issue and/or something gastrointestinal that I'm struggling to afford the appointments to get properly diagnosed and treated for.

I've been having a stream of medical bills and credit card payments (debt from those due to medical bills and needed to get necessities like groceries and such) over the past several months.

What I'm hoping for is to raise enough to be able to lower by debt across the board (three credit cards for me, three to four main doctors and an ER bill from when I had to go about month ago for extreme abdominal pain, and an emergency vet bill that I owe for when I had to take my cat in due to breathing issues back in April), pay the back payments of household bills that I owe (electric and the internet are the main ones), and have enough to create a bit of padding so I'm not relying on my partner (who lives overseas) nearly as much to fully pay rent each month until the end of January 2027 when my lease is up.

If it weren't for the constant stream of medical bills on top of needing to still buy food (and having to experiment with what actually stays down and doesn't make me sick due to my various illnesses and all of the contaminated food in the US) and pay the regular, not-back-payment amount of my bills, I could afford to live where I'm at. At least, as long as my landlord doesn't raise the rent.

I know it's a bit of a lofty goal and times are tough for everyone. So any sort of support, whether monetarily or sharing this campaign via social media and/or word of mouth, would be massively appreciated.
