Hello to my Family, Friends, and Community!

My name is Ezmeralda Alvarado. I am the starting goalkeeper for San Francisco University High School and my club team AC Marin in San Rafael, California. My whole life has revolved around soccer since the age of three, and I continue to stay dedicated to my family, soccer, and school. My family has dedicated just as much time and resources to make sure I am able to follow my dreams of taking my soccer career as far as I can go, and I have big dreams. I was able to get into an amazing high school on a full scholarship with guidance from a few mentors who I met through soccer. To be able to participate in these tournaments will open doors and opportunities in the future for college soccer recruitment, as these tournaments provide great scouting opportunities. This year, I have multiple opportunities to travel with my club to play in places like San Diego and Las Vegas. I would like to help my mother financially take care of all my travel expenses for my big travel tournaments. Our first trip will be at the end of August for a multi-day tournament in San Diego and another planned tournament in Las Vegas in March. Soccer is a big part of our family's budget, and I would appreciate any help to make this easier for my family, who have had my back all these years physically, mentally, and financially.
