Please consider supporting a wonderful family in our community who is raising funds to better care for their child. Ezequiel is a sweet and joyful eight-year-old with cerebral palsy.

Unfortunately, Ezequiel’s health insurance does not cover essential items that could dramatically improve his daily life, such as a specialized medical stroller and an adaptive bed. These tools are not luxuries, they are necessities that would ensure his comfort, safety, and mobility. A new stroller, in particular, would allow him and his mom to enjoy everyday activities like visiting the playground this summer.

Ezequiel is a bright light to everyone who meets him. He expresses his excitement in heartwarming ways, like lifting his head or sharing a smile that melts hearts. Right now, Ezequiel’s mom is using a stroller generously donated by another family, but it was designed for a much smaller child. The safety harness doesn’t fit properly, which puts both his comfort and safety at risk, especially as they live on a second floor, and she frequently has to carry both her son and the stroller up and down stairs.

We’re currently raising funds to purchase a customized stroller and adaptive bed that fits Ezequiel’s medical needs and gives him the security and support he deserves. This new stroller would ease the physical strain on his mom and provide them both with more independence and freedom.

We know times are tough for many, but any contribution—big or small will make a meaningful difference for this family. If we’re lucky enough to exceed our goal, extra funds will go toward important accessories for the stroller and essential supplies like wipes.
