Our U16 lyrical team Expression, from Intensity Cheer & Dance, have achieved something truly special...

They have earned a bid to compete at The Dance Summit in Orlando, Florida in May 2027 – one of the most prestigious dance championships in the world.

This isn't just another competition. Teams from across the globe spend years working towards this opportunity, very few achieve an invitation, and just receiving a bid is recognition that our dancers are among the very best.

### Who are we?

Our team is made up of talented young dancers aged 12–15 from Rotherham, Sheffield and the surrounding area, who train week after week with passion, commitment and determination. They juggle school, homework, exams and family life while dedicating countless hours to their sport.

Behind every performance are early mornings, late nights, sore muscles and unwavering commitment, all with a dream in mind to represent their country at one of the top competitions in the World.

For many of our dancers, this is the biggest achievement of their lives.

Qualifying is only the first step.

Travelling from the UK to compete in Florida comes with significant costs, including:

* Competition entry fees

* State side Training

* Choreography fees

* Team training kit

* Costumes

Families are covering all travel expenses but still the cost for each dancer to compete is almost £1000 and our goal is to ensure that **every dancer who has worked so hard has the chance to compete**, regardless of financial circumstances.
