Help Expose War Crimes Against Ukrainian Evangelicals
Donation protected
Tens of thousands of Evangelical Christians in Ukraine have been forced out of their churches at gunpoint by the Russian military. Russia targets them because they want to impose Russian Orthodoxy in Ukraine, and they see Evangelicals as members of an enemy faith. Yet few Evangelical Christians in the United States and other countries know that this is happening because the media has barely reported on these war crimes. Award-winning journalists and filmmakers Simon Ostrovsky and Alexandra Poolos want to change that with a compelling feature-length documentary that will expose the holy war within the wider Ukraine war.
Consider the story of the Galgofa Baptist Church in Kherson, Ukraine. Members of the church rescued 49 children from an orphanage near the front lines when the war broke out. They cared for the children, many of whom were disabled, for months. But when the Russians eventually occupied the city, they spread rumors about Galgofa and accused the church of having taken the children to smuggle them to the United States to sell their organs on the black market. Russian security forces raided the church, kidnapping all of the children and deporting them to Russia, where their names were changed and they were put up for adoption.
We are asking for your support to fund our research teams on the ground that are trying to find these children. Our researchers are also sourcing exclusive footage depicting the Russian military's crimes against faith communities. We also use donated funds to pay for our film crew to travel to Ukraine. Any amount is appreciated, but those who contribute $500 or more will get a thank you in the credits. Those who contribute $5000 or more will get a special mention and an invitation to the New York premiere of the film. Thank you for your support!
