We are Soaring Chicken Farm Ministry, and we are embarking on a journey to create a sanctuary where faith and nature connect. For years, we have shared a vision for a place of peace—a space to disconnect from the noise of the world and reconnect to God in His beautiful creation.

The Trial: Beauty from Ashes

On February 1st, our resilience was put to the test. A fast-moving fire broke out on the farm, destroying our outdoor utility kitchen and two 10x12 structures. We lost everything insideand a lifetime of essential tools (DeWalt, Craftsman, Skil) that we use daily to maintain the land and care for our animals.

By God’s grace, all of our animals are safe, and no people were harmed. While we are heartbroken to see years of work turn to ash, we are more determined than ever to rebuild. This trial has only strengthened our mission to be a legacy of strength and resilience for generations to come.

The Need: Rebuilding & Restoring

Between the fire loss and recent heavy rains that flooded our animal sheds and damaged our main supply roof, we have an immediate need for infrastructure support. We are reaching out to our community to help us clear the debris, level the ground, and restore the foundations of the farm.

Our Immediate Recovery Goals:

$3,400 for Building Materials: To purchase lumber from Ganahl Lumber to replace the structures lost in the fire.

Site Restoration: Leveling the ground, building a new supply shed, and installing proper erosion control to protect the animal enclosures from future rain and fire hazards.

The Vision: Our Future Projects

Beyond the rebuild, we are still looking forward! Your support helps us finish the essential projects that make the farm a sanctuary:

Erosion Control: Digging trenches and using straw wattles/boulders to manage water flow.

Animal Family Expansion: Navigating the $5,000–$7,000 permitting process for larger livestock (donkeys, cows, and horses) to join our farm family.

Safe Access: Building safe steps and hillside trails for our volunteers and visitors.

Power Tools: Drills, saws, batteries, and chargers (DeWalt, Craftsman, Skil).

Kitchen/Utility: Baking pans, pots, and walkie-talkies for our farm team.

Outdoor Gear: Carport canopies, outdoor heaters, and shade trees.

Erosion Tools: Jackhammer with a shovel bit (to borrow or keep).
